While I was downloading the virtualbox instance, I thought I'd take a
crack at installing the environment natively, since I run Ubuntu.

I'm following the instructions on the wiki here:
http://eden.sahanafoundation.org/wiki/InstallationGuidelinesDeveloper
There's a section called "Download latest code", but it doesn't
provide instructions for where the repository is for Web2Py or Sahana
Eden. Does anyone know where they are? I assume they're somewhere on
launchpad, since the instructions said to register there.

Will be great if everyone is running the very latest code as some of
tonight's training will use the latest code changes :)

Best Wishes,
Fran.

Thanks, I figured it you eventually. :) I'm not familiar with the bzr
abbreviation for launchpad (or bzr in general because I'm a git
person), so nothing in it looked like a URL.

It looks like the documented bzr branch command for contributing to
web2py checks out revision 2247. Should I just exclude the -r option
to get the latest code?

2247 is fine for us still :)

I personally run Web2Py trunk, so either are fine, but nothing new in
Web2Py since 2247 is mandatory (although I would recommend a more
recent version for multilingual Production instances)

Thanks for asking :)
