installation LaunchPad/Bazaar

I'm trying (maybe foolishly) to follow the developer installation. I
think most bits are in place.
I'm running on a Mac.

I have a LaunchPad account (cmcwerner) but I can't seem to tell bazaar
about it:

osprompt% bzr launchpad-login cmcwerner
bzr: ERROR: The user name cmcwerner is not registered on
Launchpad.

When logged into LaunchPad in the upper right corner I see:


Logged in as cmcwerner

Hi Charile,

Try generating a ssh-key pair and uploading the public key to Lauchpad (lp) and upload the public key to your lp profile. 

Here are some good instructions on how to do this:

Hmm. I'm not quite sure what happened. I seem to have two LaunchPad accounts. Not even sure how to get back to the cmcwerner one.

In any case, I ended up logging into LaunchPad with a different account, added the public key to that one and now the command

bzr checkout --lightweight -r 2247 lp:~mdipierro/web2py/devel web2py

worked fine.
