POS: Oracle Developer with Unix and Perl

LOC: Denver, CO (F2F Interview and Skype for non locals)

Duration: 6+ Months

 

We have an opportunity in Denver for an Oracle Developer with Unix and Perl for a 6 month contract position.  The client does not allow H1’s so individuals must be US Citizens, Green card holders or EAD’s.  They will prefer local candidates, but if the individuals have excellent communication skills they may consider out of state.  They will require an in person interview following a phone screen. 

 

Responsibilities:

•           Changing Oracle schema

•           Developing scheduled scripts  (PL/SQL and/or shell/perl)

•           Performance tuning (queries plan evaluation, partitioning, indexes, matviews and so)

•           Closely working with Oracle Reports and ETL teams to fulfill their needs for DBAs

Requirements:

• Oracle 10g - 3+ years
• UNIX - 3+ years
• PERL - 3+ years
• PL/SQL - 5+ years
• Excellent ability to communicate
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

 

Nice to haves:

• Experience with scheduling scripts to run automatically
