Hey Sam,

I am looking for a summer coding job in the Palo Alto area (within biking distance of Stanford).

I really want to work for a small company, or a company that is doing something good for other people. I’m looking for enough pay to be able to contribute to rent and feed myself, but I am most interested in spending my summer with a cool group of people that are passionate about their work.

I am a Junior doing a double major in CS and Italian. Though my favourite programming language is C, I can certainly hold my own in Java and other similar object oriented languages. My area of study at Stanford is in human-computer interaction. I however strongly prefer working on the back-end as opposed to user interface design.

Please let me know if you have any opportunities for me. I am just finishing my quarter abroad in Italy so my best method of contact is my email— chbr...@stanford.edu

Thank you so much for your help; I really do appreciate you taking the time, and hope that I can prove useful in some position!

Chiara
