I'm at a programming languages workshop today and the quote of the day
so far from one of the presenters: "My mother asked what I was
researching and I said 'garbage collection.' She gave me a funny look
and said 'that's ridiculous. You are an IT researcher. Why are you
spending your time on rubbish?'"
