An idea to kick around

A couple of days ago a friend was complaining that she wanted a social
network that would tell you about places around you that your friends
had rated. Specifically she wanted brief summary reviews from her
friends of restaurants in the area. This sounded quite interesting to
me and perhaps a new direction to take Drifting Bottle in. It's
another concept that's pretty vague in my head, but some sort of
geotagged social network where you could quickly consult it with
filters for what you were interested in at the time. Thoughts?

the drifting bottle- like button, is the idea of this, although it doesn't have comments part from friends, which ya its good point for taking it to a different direction.

Not quite, this is a fetching and notify service based on auto preference matching! And yeah it basically able to do anything with that part complete....
