Hey guys,

This is the list as I have it from the meeting. Let me know if I've missed anyone, or if anyone is interested in something else, even if it isn't on that list!

Hello Shawn. This is Ishmael. Can you post the dates for the events you've listed this message? For example, you mentioned there are meetings for the Downtown Achieves and Clark High School. In addition, I can you forward some information about our group to my email address - ishmael...@ingenarius.com so that I can use it to setup a meeting with a Clark County Commissioner and Nevada Congressman. Thanks in advance!!!

Sincerely,
Ishmael Thomas

Hey Ishmael,

Wednesday the 22nd is the Clark High School council presentation in the City Hall council chambers.  Council is in session from 9am-12pm but I don't know when they will be called to present.

Friday the 24th at the Beat Coffee House downtown is the data meeting (I think) with the local libraries.  That one I have no idea what the agenda is yet.

For the information about the brigade program, this is directly from the CfA website:

The Code for America Brigade is how local residents and cities are working together using technology to make their cities better and more connected. The Brigade is one of the programs that Code for America offers.

Our local brigade is new (3 months old), but brigades in other cities have done everything from drafting open data policies in conjunction with local government, to making life easier for people trying to enroll their children in the correct school districts, to making life easier for local food banks to figure out what they need.  Another brigade wrote a text messaging system powered by Twilio that helps people on the EBT program stay enrolled and informed.
