Dear Crow Creek Community,
The City of Tulsa 22nd Annual Creek Clean-up will be held on Crow Creek this year on May 21, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Attached please find a flyer with all of the pertinent information. We will be meeting at Philbrook Museum at 10:00 a.m. for a brief orientation, team assignments and equipment pick-up. We ask that you register so we have a good idea of the number of people to expect for lunch.
If you have items from Crow Creek that we should pick up or help you remove, please let us know. Julie Monnot’s telephone number is on the flyer and mine is listed below.
One of the teams will be working on the lots on 33rd Place west of Peoria to begin planting some native plants that will be attractive to our pollinators. This project to turn the lots into a meadow has been slowed by the need to redesign the path so it will be ADA (American’s with Disabilities Act) compliant. The planting we will do will be along the street and around the sign and the electrical boxes so that our work will not be destroyed during the construction of the path.
I hope you will be able to join us. As always, call or email if you have questions.
