Hi, all. This is Clifton Adcock with The Frontier, a Tulsa-based nonprofit investigative and data journalism organization. I'm looking for someone who might be interested in creating an app that would allow Oklahomans to look at the amount and types of campaign contributions their elected officials are receiving - as well as what is being spent by 501c(4) groups on behalf of those elected officials. I'm hoping for something sort of like the Sunlight Foundation's "Influence Explorer" , only using state ethics commission data rather than federal (since this would be focused mostly on state officials). Ideally, it would be able to visualize for the user donations received by each candidate from a list of industries (e.g. - energy, education, insurance, health, etc.), largest contributors, largest recipients per industry, and be updated regularly as new filings come in. If this is a project you might be interested in or might be able to contribute your brainpower or skills to, you can contact me at cli...@readfrontier.com.
