Dear colleagues,

I am searching for technology provider on coco peat. This is to make pack of coconut dust which then used as growing media in nursery or hydroponics.

Could anyone direct me to the right source.

Thank you.

Dear Yohannes,

do you need a partner or merely the technology?

I ask because there are investors in the region and in Indonesia.

You could approach Mike Pilgrim, a Director of GTL, he has little to do with daily operations now I think but could point you in the right direction.

Hi, Yohannes,

You can check JUBOKEN Enterprises and/or Coconut Technologies in the Philippines.  Right now I do not have their contact addresses and numbers.  You can check the net.

Regards.

   Dear Yohannes Samosir,

There is a company in INDIA named Essar Engineers, who is having nearly 10 years of experience in coco peat. They are the manufacturers of coco peat blocking machines and selling to most of the coconut growing countries. You can contact them for a better proposal.

Dear concerned,
Besides interest on cocoa peat technology (which is gaining importance) the need for high speed coconut dehusker to overcome the shortage of skilled farm hands is commonly felt. Some time back news appeared in THE HINDU that Mr. Kadhar & his group fabricated such a device for on farm utilization of machinery for large scale dehusking of coconut with possibility of portability.  With severe shortage of skilled labour in farm sector coconut growers evince keen interest for high speed dehusker. If anyone having contact details of Mr. Khader can inform and such a technology from other sources are also welcome.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest in high-speed de-husker. We have established the process and operation in Madurai, Tamilnadu in India and it's in production now.

You can reach my operation supervisor Jamal at 91- 8760999393 for any assistance and details.

Thanks,
Kadhar
