My experience with coir board is that they display the same old stuff. It is hard to approach people who have subject knowledge and expertise. Also, most of their technologies as they are described are not commercially viable. I would like to hear comments from others as well.

My experience is the same. Part of the reason is that some sectors like rubberised coir do not work closely with the Coir Board which is still disproportionately influenced by the green fibre sector.

Very true Mr. Vijay. Same is the case of Bristle Coir Fibre which is the longest and strongest variety of coir fibre. We produce it in Kanyakumari District in Tamil Nadu. There is very little that is talked about it in Coir Board circles.

I stand corrected. Mr. Vinay and not Mr. Vijay.
