GeoNetwork OpenSource, Mikado, INSPIRE metadata editor, CatMDEdit)
following the outcome of the GIS meeting
Analyse the best practice, de facto standard, for
biodiversity, real time environmental data and bathymetric data (GBIF TAPIR,
THREDDS, BAG) to ensure data interoperabilty

I think we have to specify the main differences between the commercial and open source tools for metadata and see if we can stay only on open source, because I do not expect that all
Coconet participants has ArcGIS full package available
