I'm Catia Chiappini and I work as technician at CNR Institute of Marine Science of La Spezia. I'm involved in SeaDataNet II Poject where I make data quality control for ctd  measures and create the cdi for the SeaDataNet portal.  I'm also involved in the Jerico Project for the delayed temporals series. I've a knowledge base of GIS systems (I've used QGIS connected a PostgreSQL DBMS (populated by me) to view data and metadata from ctd, xbt, ladcp of our cruises).

Hi everybody, my name in Alessandro Sarretta and I'm only a guest here in this virtual workshop (thanks to Federica for the invitation).
I worked at the CNR-ISMAR, dealing with GIS analysis and elaboration of geo-morphological data in coastal environments, and at the JRC in the group coordinating the technical development of the European INSPIRE Directive, mainly dealing with the creation, analysis and management of conceptual models to develop data specifications for SDI's interoperability.
