Thanks to Dulio Denis, who will be shooting video of the meeting.

When: Thursday, May 9, 2013, 6:30-8:00 PM, followed by pizza at Patsy's.

What: Ben Ragheb will talk about two techniques he combined to implement a photo upload feature: (1) WebView/UIWebView JavaScript tricks, and (2) using Amazon Web Services.

Where: Google, 76 9th Ave, New York, NY 10011

You might want to arrive a few minutes early in case there's a line at the security desk.

Use the 9th Ave entrance. Tell the building guard you're going to Google. Present ID to get your badge.

Go to the 4th floor. Go to the right of the reception desk, all the way to the wall behind it. Turn right. CocoaHeads meets in the room named "Bakerfield". There will be signs with arrows to help you find it.

Any problems, call or text Ed Marczak at 516-662-4185 or Andy Lee at 917-805-8910. See you there!

For anyone thinking of skipping tonight because you fear it won't be about "real" Cocoa programming, let me say this: a recurring theme will be "I hate writing web services". My hope is to give you some strategies for doing as little server-side work as possible.
