Contra Arrangement

Hello Coders!

 

I’m reaching out to any of you that may have Apps out there geared towards the Teen & College public market, in hopes of reaching a Contra Arrangement. Simply put, we’re looking to trade Coding Hours against our vast reach in the Teen & College sectors, in a non-cash barter arrangement. Some details follow below.

 

Over the last decade, I’ve been running a company that has promoted and produced Teen & College Concerts & Clubnights all over the USA and Canada. We enjoy relationships with key people at LiveNation and Viacom, as well as many many independent venues all across the continent. And, anyone in the nightlife industry will tell you that marketing to High School and College Students has been primarily based on social media since MySpace hit critical mass in 2004. In that respect, we are leaders in such campaigns, and have an aggregate reach of over 4,000,000 students at this point.

 

We’ve also started a new company at mydigitera.com that will be concentrating on selling digital products of all types to various industries. Some of the products, such as Social Media, we will be taking care of internally. Others, such as Apps for iOS and Android as well as Business Management Software, we will be working with Outsourcing Talent wherever we can find it.

 

With respect to the arrangement I mention in the opening paragraph above, I know from being part of Cocoaheads Ottawa that there are many Developers out there with App Products that they simply throw up on iTunes and Google Play without giving any thought to a respectable marketing campaign. Sure, a few Apps MIGHT catch on and go viral…but let’s face it, most of them will probably just flounder in App Store obscurity and go nowhere. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. We can blast out to tens or hundreds of thousands of people in a number of different ways…Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and Pheed. Just imagine for example what your App could do if say 100,000 people in Florida got tagged in an image that prompted them to download your App. We can make that happen with ease.

 

If you’re an independent Developer that needs a marketing campaign for App Products and cannot afford the cash to retain a full agency campaign, this might be a solution worth considering.  You can pay for our services with coding hours in the following areas; iOS, Android, WinPhone, HTML-CSS-PHP-MySQL-etc. We can help each other out, and both sides can save our cash resources for other things such as…you know…rent, food, gas, etc. If this sounds like an arrangement that you might be interested in, the door is open…let’s talk!
