Hi Jackson,

If you're interested in the IT field (and software development specifically) then I recommend you go to a Uni (or TAFE specialising in IT) and study Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering.  You need a grounding in computer science to get into software development.  Or you need to have demonstrated you have the skills already (through self learning) by having good quality software you've developed yourself.
