App Store ranking and updates?

Hi all.

For the few who do not know, I am developing the app Res i Skåne, and
I have released quite a few updates the last weeks.

The app has been #7 in the Free Travel app category since it's
release, but now after the updates it has plummeted to #28.

I can not quite see how, since the uptake on updates has been really
high, new users per day has doubled, and no new traveling app has been
introduced that competes.

So just what is going on? Anyone else had this experience after
updates?
