Our next meeting will feature three 20 minute presentations:
Jonathan Penn - Gesture Recognizers are Apple's answer to the problem: How do I keep all those touches straight!?!? It's all about tracking touch state over time, and UIGestureRecognizer subclasses give us a great, composable way to manage that complexity. We'll look at how a custom gesture works and how recognizers compete to decide which one "wins".
Andrew Crase - iOS External Accessory Framework. Andy will cover the types of connections, the relevant classes and an example App. He'll also provide info about publicly available hardware and how to join the MFi program to get more (NDA) details.
Randy Beiter - Testing Mocks. Randy has recently been exploring testing mocks, and is going to share what he's learned.
