Please help me understand and resolve this issue.

  • I am getting "no route to host" error on 3G/4G network but not on wifi

  • It does work on Wifi

[self.xmppStream setHostName:"dev.example.com"];

Apart from below observations, I ran a ipv6 validation test on my domain name (example.com) and it says "No AAAA record found". http://ipv6-test.com/validate.php

Can you please provide pointers on what could be wrong?

I don't have access to device.

Please help.

I had the issue and resolved it by setting the dns manually on the device.

Can you please provide instructions on how to set DNS manually on device for cellular data?

I believe your cellular carrier controls DNS for cellular connections
