Hello,

CocoaAsyncSocket is perfect for my needs but I have an interrogation
for which I can't find any answer...
I want to use it to connect iOS devices together (an iPad as a server
and many iPhones connected to it).
But how many connections an iPad could handle ?

Thank you !
Flo

I've tried a huge number in tests... I think 7 or 8, even more ... with no problem whatsoever. 4 or 5 is completely normal.

Enjoy!

there are now many "phone goes to pad" games, eg http://padracer.com/ not to mention the Scrabble one.

and be sure to get the outstanding http://getjoypad.com/ (free)

If i remember correctly, the only limitation would be the OS imposed maximum number of file descriptors per process. On Mac OS X this in in the thousands. Not quite sure what it is on iOS.
