Address book bindings and documentation

I am working on an application that wants to access the Mac OS X
address book, is this available yet??
I really need this capability, but I understand that the bindings with
the address book might not be the most important on the project. If no
one has started doing the binding let me know and I'll take care of
doing them and summit them.
Apart from that I would like to know if there is any place where I can
find some documentation... Is probably my fault, but I cant find it.
