Dear All,

There will be a conference about Frobenius splitting in algebraic
geometry,
commutative algebra, and representation theory at Umich, May 17-22.

http://sites.google.com/site/frobeniussplitting/

We will cover local expenses in Ann Arbor, and possibly also travel
expenses for graduate students.

Best,
Zhixian

Well, I don't know it exactly. Basically it studies when the Frobenius map has "inverse", i.e. the map splits.  Mircea told me this topic is closely related to commutative algebra  and representation theory. There will be several lectures related to algebraic geometry, but not very much.
