This weekend update includes some changes how CoCalc handles RMarkdown files and we integrated support for PythonTeX to the LaTeX editor. You can grab example files from the Library (in "+ New"), look for "RMarkdown in CoCalc" and "PythonTeX in CoCalc".
This screenshot shows processing of some embedded Python 3 code via PythonTeX. There is also special support for handling SymPy, where you can see the computed integral below. The plot is an embedded PDF, which is generated on the fly via matplotlib.
The screenshot below shows an .Rmd file with syntax highlighting of R and Python code, a plot and some calculations in R and Python, and a way to exchange data objects between R and Python on the fly using the reticulate library.
