gcc: error: \-fexceptions: No such file or directory

Hello,

I'm trying to run a fastFVA on Matlab 2020b and CPLEX 12.10. I had encountered the following error:

Warning: The most recent cplexFVA binaries are only tested for CPLEX version 128. However, you have

installed version 1210. If you experience an error using fastFVA, you need to run: >>

generateMexFastFVA() in order to generate a new cplexFVA binary file that matches cplex version1210

When running the generateMexFastFVA, I get another error :

Error using generateMexFastFVA (line 93)

The CPLEX library C:\Program Files\ibm\ILOG\CPLEX_Studio1210\cplex\lib\x64_windows_vs2013\stat_mda does

not exist. Please install the CPLEX solver as explained here.

I found a corrected version of the function: https://www.bountysource.com/issues/91642512-generatemexfastfva-depends-on-stale-cplex-and-matlab-versions

However, when running it I got another error:

Error using mex

gcc: error: \-fexceptions: No such file or directory

Any help would be very appreciated.

Hi Ysaline,
the cplexFVA.c code needs to be updated because CPLEX changed the way
they refer to certain pointers. Please see older threads on this. We
need someone brave enough to tackle the c code and fix it. Hopefully
it is you.
