The 21st conference of the International Study Group for Systems Biology (ISGSB 2024: Molecules, Networks and Emergence) will be held in Stellenbosch, South Africa, from 9-13 September 2024. To advance the ongoing quest of bridging the gap between molecules of the cell, the metabolic and signalling networks they participate in, and the emergent biological phenomena that result from their interactions, this meeting invites contributions from experimental and theoretical biologists, computational modellers and interdisciplinary systems biologists.
There have been some enquiries about the safety of travelling to South Africa. Please keep in mind that social media feeds on bad news. If you observe the rules of the country, the rules of the conference, stick to tourist friendly locations and observe basic common sense, as you would in any foreign country, everything will be fine. We suggest that you book and use only bona fide tour operators, taxis and accommodation if you wish to extend your stay. The conference organisers are happy to answer any queries or provide advice, they can be contacted at ad...@venues.co.za

We look forward to welcoming you in Stellenbosch!
