Hi,
Does CobraToolbox support IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio V12.4?
I installed IBM ILOG CPLEX Optimization Studio V12.4 and set the Matlab path to the respective directory, but when I use the function 'changeSolver('CPLEX')' it say cobraToolbox does not support ILOG CPLEX.
Please help me so that I can use IBM CPLEX with CobraToolbox.

Thanks

regards
B.Sen

Short answer, no, it supports the Tomlab CPLEX api.

Long answer,

http://opencobra.sourceforge.net/openCOBRA/opencobra_documentation/cobra_toolbox_2/cobra/solvers/solveCobraCPLEX.html

should help with accessing the ILOG api. It was great for my application but it needs a bit of code tweaking for whatever you're doing/whatever's calling it.

Hi Biswarup,
see
[solution,LPProblem]=solveCobraLPCPLEX(LPProblem,printLevel,basisReuse,conflictResolve,contFunctName,minNorm)
in the cobra-devel/solvers folder. There is support in it for the IBM
CPLEX API from 2009. It was very slow back then. Maybe they have
improved it, which may mean editing the code to support the new API.
In any case, what is there should help get you started.

Hi Fatima,

The link you posted is TOMLAB CPLEX. You need to buy a license first and you will be able to download it.

You can use IBM ILOG CPLEX instead, that is free of charge.

Try the download the academic version of IBM ILOG CPLEX from this website

I hope that helped.
