I decided to update the COBRA toolbox on my 2022 macbook air (M2 chip) since my code wasn't working properly. Now, I am having a problem even initializing the COBRA toolbox.
I am getting the following error:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 > Checking if git is installed ...  Done (version: 2.39.3).
 > Checking if the repository is tracked using git ...  Done.
fatal: Unable to read current working directory: Operation not permitted
Warning: Your global git configuration could not be changed.
> In initCobraToolbox (line 186)
 > Checking if curl is installed ...  Done.
 > Checking if remote can be reached ...  Done.
 > Initializing and updating submodules (this may take a while)...fatal: Unable to read current working directory: Operation not permitted
Error using initCobraToolbox
The submodules could not be initialized.

Can someone please help me with this issue? I have installed cobratoolbox exactly as described in the documentation using git. My git is updated to the latest version. I am using MATLAB R2022A.

I appreciate it in advance.

Dear Niki,

We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by the recent COBRA Toolbox initialization issue and apologize for any disruption it may have caused. Our team has successfully resolved the problem, and we anticipate a return to normal initialization within the next few days.
We'll keep the community updated on the progress.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
Farid
