How control/importance of specific reaction is formulated under cobra?

This is a more general question.

If I have a pathway and measurement(flux or concentration through time), is there any (novel) approaches in the setting of COBRA that can evaluate importance of specific reactions, like flux control? coefficient (FCC)? Or is the FCC the way to do that? Can you guys share some related literature if there is?
