open escher map with python

Dear all,

I am plagued by the following problem with escher: when I draw my first map with escher (localy) and later tried to start escher and open the map by instancing Builder, the program calls an exception like 'json not valid or found' (I just can't express the exact wording right now)
I had no problem with maps downloaded from the escher homepage
I had no problem to load my map directly from the escher menue
When I take an downloaded map and cleared it, saved it and tried to load it, I had the same problem.

I tried the escher validator, which confirmed an unvalid state.
I used the escher converter, but it didn't help.

Maybe anyone can help?
I can deliver program output, if needed
