Friends: We are pleased to invite you to a Community Education &
Discussion Forum at Old Bridge on September 25th that is organized by
COBNJ, SAALT and US Department of Justice Community Relations Service
in cooperation with the local law enforcement and several civic rights
advocacy groups. Please do come and invite your neighbors too.

As a resident or Old Bridge I am very happy to see the progress that
the Citizens of Old Bridge has made working with local authorities and
other advocacy groups. The event on the 25th is exactly the kind of
event that I would like to attend as it will help educate us.
I am also glad to see the Neighborhood Watch sign posted all over the
Old Bridge area. It gives me a certain sense of safety that someone is
watching out for us. I must add that although I have not been active
due to my health condition, I am aware of the hard work that few of
the members of this group have been doing over the past few month.
Personally I just want to express my thanks to all who have spend time
away from family to do this good work.

I attended the COB event today with a friend and just wanted to say
it was OUTSTANDING. To be honest, I got much more that what I
expected. I was very happy that COB was able to bring so many diverse
organizations and the government to the table and pull it of so well.
The COB presentation was well put together. All other presenters had
good information to share. My heartfelt thanks to all all involved
(and your spouses) with this wonderful effort. Great Job!
