Visitors:
We welcomed back our friends Patty & Keith from last year. Hope to see you both again this season. We also had 17 visitors to the platform. Trail was busy with bikes and hikers checking out the fire aftermath. We also were visited by JeffCo Ranger Sabrina (thanks for stopping by and visiting).

Weather:
Very pleasant. SE/NE winds 5-15 kmph. Increasing clouds as day progressed. Mild temps.

Raptor Observations:
Many thanks to Amy Walsh, Dave Hill, Ajit Antony, and Chris Gearhart for the help today. Birds scattered all day. Did have a nice push late afternoon high over the western valley. Clouds made spotting the high flight much better. We had good diversity and a few nice kettles and small streams of TV’s.

Non-raptor Observations:
Trail is dry. Five fighter jets low over Mt. Morrison. AWPE (2), WTSW numbers increasing.

Predictions:
Hoping for another good day. The Broad-wing and Swainson’s Hawks should be arriving soon.
