to cobirds
I have asked to post the following for a private landowners in Bent County, Mr. and Mrs. Lance Verhoeff. Unfortunately, Mr. and Mrs. Verhoeff have had birders and even two vans with 16 people on their property without permission. I would ask that the birding community please respect private property rights. Although a property may not have signs posted, it is of the utmost importance that you have permission to bird on private property. Thanks.

As per Mr. Verhoeff:
"A Hudsonian Godwit has been spotted in the flooded fields adjacent to county
roads 26.5 and JJ. Please be aware that the surrounded fields and farm roads
are private and no trespassing will be tolerated."

5th The county road was very muddy that day and Lance and his wife
were kind enough the show me where the bird was and take me in their
vehicles to to see it. Please do not go onto their property to go to see the bird."
