Good morning,
The City of Boulder is gearing up to start a construction project which will impact the bird watching community who use Sawhill Ponds and Walden Ponds for their viewing oasis. (Please see below message) The attached flyer is what the city has been handing out to the public for more information. Would you be willing to share on your platforms to help us get the word out? Thank you for your consideration! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Hello,
My name is Laurel Olsen and I work for the City of Boulder’s utilities department. I am reaching out to inquire if there is a message board for the local Boulder chapter of the Audubon Rockies. The city is about to start construction on a project to rehabilitate our main sanitary sewer line and it will result in closures to the trails at Sawhill Ponds and some intermittent closures to Walden Ponds. Both areas are frequently used by our local birding enthusiasts so any avenue to help spread the word about the closures would be very much appreciated. I will also be out on the site on Sat,, 23 Sept. from 7-noon to let visitors know of the upcoming impacts. Thank you for any guidance you may have.
