Brown Thrasher in Alamosa

Very unusual at any time of year was a Brown Thrasher feeding
on berries near the water treatment plant in Alamosa (Alamosa County). We got
about 14 inches of snow in the San Luis Valley over the weekend and the storm
had migrating birds looking for food.
