Our slowest day of the season, with only 9 new birds. Luckily, we caught 14 recaps from earlier this season so we had a variety of interesting species to share with our great mix of visitors - A Girl Scout troop, a group of neighbors brought out by a bird enthusiast, several parents brought out by their young children. Here's the 9 new:
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 2
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 2
Yellow-rumped Warbler, unidentified 1
Song Sparrow 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Slate-colored 1
