Funny follow up. After walking and birding solo, I ended up going back to Clement Park with my daughter to hang out at the playground for a while. Upon getting home at 4:50 pm, a flock of cackling geese and the Ross's goose flew SE past the house! Good thing I had my binocs with me.
And I thought the E Screech Owl a couple weeks ago was a nice yard bird.
