ALAMOSA COUNTY:
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Rawinski in Alamosa at the Frisbee Golf course parking lot on April 14. Take the trail going SE along the levee.
BENT COUNTY:
--A m Black-and-white Warbler was reported by Duane Nelson at Tempel Grove and a pair of Eastern Phoebes were building
a nest under the bridge on CR 35 on April 15.
--On April 19 at Tempel Grove Duane Nelson reported YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, Black-throated Gray Warbler, and Black-and-white Warbler.
BOULDER COUNTY:
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Floyd in Boulder near the intersection of 28th and Iris on April 14.
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Gent at a pond on the west side of 109th St just N of Jasper Road on April 19. On April 20, Waltman reported GLOSSY IBIS at 109th and Jasper.
DELTA COUNTY:
--Garrison reported that the Harris's Sparrow continues to visit the feeder at the FS office in Paonia on April 14 and April 15.
El PASO COUNTY:
--A YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER was reported by Stuart at the banding station at Chico Basin Ranch (fee area) on April 13. On April 17, Maynard reported YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER by the banding station at Chico Basin Ranch.
--A Black-and-white Warbler was reported by Percival at Bell Grove at Chico Basin Ranch on April 19.
--A m Hooded Warbler was reported by Percival at Chico Basin Ranch between the banding station and Bell Grove on April 20.
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Percival by the banding station at Chico Basin Ranch on April 20.
--A Greater Roadrunner was reported by Percival on Hanover Road on April 20.
--At Big Johnson on April 14, Mark Peterson reported 2-nd cyc Glaucous Gull, 3-rd cyc Lesser Black-backed Gull, and 1-st cyc Thayer's Gull.
--A Northern Parula was reported by Tyler Stuart along the creek on the south side of Sinton Pond in Colorado Springs on April 15. On April 18, Maynard reported Northern Parula at Sinton Pond.
--An ad m Rusty Blackbird was reported by Drummond at Sinton Pond on April 17.
FREMONT COUNTY:
--A GLOSSY IBIS was reported by Moss in Florence on April 12. On April 15 Moss reported that the GLOSSY IBIS continues in the flooded fields in Florence.
--On April 18, Percival reported 2 Eastern Phoebes on the Canyon City Riverwalk between Raynolds and Sell.
GARFIELD COUNTY:
--Filby reported on April 16 that his yard Harris's Sparrow in Carbondale is now singing daily. If you would like to try to see the bird email him at dickfilby AT

GILPIN COUNTY:
--2 Fox Sparrows were reported by Kaemfper on the road to Moffat Tunnel one on either side of Tolland on April 19.
LA PLATA COUNTY:
--At Vallecito Reservoir on April 14, Mlodinow reported 4 f-type White-winged Scoters and 2 pairs of Barrow's Goldeneyes.
LARIMER COUNTY:
--4 Lesser Black-backed Gulls were reported by Komar at Horseshoe Lake in NE Loveland on April 12.
Best viewing spot is at the east end of Engelman Place off of Monroe. On April 18, Komar reported 2 Thayer's Gulls (1 ad, 1 pale 3-rd cyc) and a 1-st cyc MEW GULL at Horseshoe Lake in Loveland.
--A Black-throated Gray Warbler was reported by Biggerstaff at Pine Ridge Natural Area/ Dixon Reservoir on April 17.
On April 18, Wade and Johnson reported the Black-throated Gray Warbler At Dixon.
--A Black-throated Gray Warbler was reported by Lutomski at Cottonwood Hollow/Running Deer Natural Area on April 17.
--A 2nd-cyc Lesser Black-backed Gull was reported by Baron at Equalizer Lake in Loveland on April 19.
MESA COUNTY:
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Stigen on the Audubon Trail in Grand Junction on April 14.
MONTEZUMA COUNTY:
--2 pair of Lucy's Warblers were reported by Mlodinow in Yellowjacket Canyon on April 15.
--Along CR G a singing Lucy's Warbler, Chukar, and Canyon Towhee were reported by Mlodinow on April 15.
MONTROSE COUNTY:
--3 Black-throated Gray Warblers were reported by Dexter at Pinyon Canopy Tower on April 18. This is about where old
Hwy 90 crosses the San Miguel River about 9 miles east of Nucla.
PUEBLO COUNTY:
--An Eastern Phoebe was reported by Percival at Valco Ponds W of the parking lot on April 17.
--2 Eastern Phoebes were reported by Percival in Rock Canyon at the east end of Osprey Picnic Area on April 17.
--A probable BLUE-HEADED VIREO was photographed by Mitchell at Chico Basin Ranch Headquarters on April 18.
--A Green Heron was reported by Percival on an island on the W side of Pueblo City Park on April 19.
--A Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Percival flying over the Valco Ponds Parking Lot in Pueblo on April 19.
--A Carolina Wren was found by Silverman in the western part of Green horn Meadows Park in Colorado City on April 19.
TELLER COUNTY:
--A Black Phoebe was reported by Hinds at Manitou Lake on April 19. The Black Phoebe was seen again on April 19 by Jones
at Manitou Lake along with a Rusty Blackbird.
WELD COUNTY:
--An ad male Swamp Sparrow was reported by Kaempfer at a shelter belt at the west edge of North Star Reservoir on April 13.
The reservoir is at the intersection of CR 8 and 19.
DFO Field Trips:
The DFO Field Trip for Wednesday, April 23 will be an All Day Chase Adventure led by Joe Roller (e-mail at jroller9 AT

Will meet at 0520 at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife south parking lot, signin, carpool (limit 4 vehicles), then head off at 0530 to wherever our whims take us. Fast paced, legal speed, many stops, variety of habitat. Plan to return by 1700 or 1800, but might
stay out later if the birds require it. Bring a scope if you want, snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, two-way radios and a sense of adventure. State Parks pass required.

Meet at 0800 in the parking area off C-470. Take C-470 west from Santa Fe to South Plate Canyon Road, turn sharp right onto Viable Road leading to parking area. Part at the lot at the end of the road near the river. Finish around 1100. Bring water, binoculars, a scope if you have one, and dress for variable weather.
