Questions:
How long have you been keeping your list.
When I visited family at this home some 37 years ago, I started keeping a list.  When I moved into this family home 28 years ago, I started a complete list.
What's your style of yard listing?
Mostly dedicated, mainly checking for first of the year birds.
How many species?
165
Rarest, or favorite species?
Rarest would be the small flock of 5-7 (depending on the year) Inca Doves visiting the yard from 2003 to 2007 eating safflower seeds. Also rare was the yellow-lored race of Yellow-throated Warbler which visited my peanut feeder; an Eastern Towhee; the yearly Ruby-throated Hummingbirds; and several Purple Finches .  My favorite bird would be hard to say as I really like them all.
Most memorable experience?
I have many memorable experiences, but the one that often comes to mind is seeing an adult male Black-chinned Hummingbird within inches of me huddled on the window sill during a rainstorm--it seemed so helpless and fragile.
Location/habitat:  urban, suburban, rural, etc.?
Urban in Lamar (Prowers Co) CO

These questions posted by Thomas encouraged me to put my historical lists for my yard from AVIS to eBird.  Thanks Thomas.
