A bit of excitement around 8 a.m. when a dozen White-crowned Sparrows got caught in net Z3.  Otherwise another slow day, with a total of 22 birds banded:

Ruby-crowned Kinglet 1
Hermit Thrush 3
Song Sparrow 2
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 14
White-crowned Sparrow, Mountain 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon 1

Closed tomorrow; looking forward to cooler weather on Tuesday!

We are open Tuesday through Sunday, weather permitting, through October 23.  Most weekday mornings there is a visitor session from 8 to 9 a.m., and on the weekends there are sessions at 8, 9 and 10 a.m. Reservations are needed; here is the link.   Please join us......It is a great year to visit Barr!
