Late American goldfinch - Jefferson County

Not sure this is COBIRDs worthy, but I thought I'd post it as the timing seems unusual. I had a calling American goldfinch in my yard yesterday (11/8). I can't recall having one here this late before. My house is in Littleton, Jefferson County, near Wadsworth and Bowles. Also took a walk around Clement Park this morning (11/9), and I saw a great blue heron, 3 hooded mergansers (2 male, 1 female), a common merganser, and several coots. This is also Jefferson County.
