Denver Field Ornithologists will host Nathan Pieplow on October 25 at 7 PM. The program title is The Internet of Wings: How the data revolution is about to change the way you bird. The program will be held live at Unity Spiritual Center, 3021 S. University Blvd, Denver 80210. Masks and social distancing are required for in person attendance. Pieplow will discuss how cutting edge innovations in bird tracking and automatic identification can enhance conservation, community science and the appeal of birding overall. Pieplow is the former editor of CFO's quarterly journal and the author of two volumes of the Peterson Field Guide to Bird Sounds. He is an assistant professor of writing and rhetoric at the University of Colorado Boulder.
