The high pressure is influencing the bird movements on Chico. Most birds moving out and few filtering into the area. I had hear the White-crowned Sparrows yesterday on site but never caught a glimpse of them until today. White-crowned Sparrows were the first of the season for the day. Very few flycatchers were around this morning. Even so, it did not seem bad to have a15 bird species diversity banded. Maybe on Friday when it appears that another front from the north will enter SE Colorado, will produce some bird numbers and diversity.
