I had a Long-eared Owl take up residence in the Cherry Tree in my driveway for a day. I got a few iPhone Pictures as the bird allowed me to get within about 20 feet without any apparent concern. I did not linger and left him/her to go about its business. It was gone this AM, probably moving on to better feeding/breeding grounds than a subdivision in far Eastern Aurora, CO.
