What started in the 1950s as a mission to identify special natural areas has now become a race to conserve the remaining fragments of nature under pressure from climate change, development, and time itself.
Join us for a compelling evening with Chris Pague, Senior Conservation Ecologist at The Nature Conservancy, as he examines the critical question: Can traditional conservation tools keep up with today’s global challenges?

About Chris Pague:
Chris has worked across 11 countries, worked with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to establish the Colorado Natural Heritage Program (CNHP), led ecoregional assessments, worked with bison restoration, and helped shape Colorado’s newest state park—Fishers Peak. His current work merges economics and ecology for transformative impact across the Great Plains and beyond.
