Band-tailed Pigeon - Roxborough SP - Douglas County

While leading a birding by ear hike today at Roxborough State Park, my group crossed paths with Front Range Birding Company's birding hike. Their leader, Chip Clouse, informed us of a band-tailed pigeon in the meadow clearing south of the Willow Creek trail. Luckily, my entire group got good looks before it flew into a large tree stand further south and disappeared.
