COBirders,

In the latter part of August every year the Arkansas Valley Audubon chapter sponsors a very popular field trip in one of the most scenic areas of Colorado, at no charge for participants.  The Wet Mountain Valley is located in Custer County, the center of which is about 50 miles west of Pueblo.  We usually identify 100 or more species on this trip even while contemplating the scenery.  It is an all-day outing but you may spend however much time as you wish.  On Aug. 27 the trip begins at 8:00 a.m. at Lake DeWeese reservoir which is about five miles north of the town of Westcliffe.  For details please email me directly.  Hope to see many of you there.
