Singing male Northern Parula was seen by five birders this morning, at the Headquarter Willows mostly, and also in the cottonwoods nearby, at Chico Basin Ranch (fee required to visit), Pueblo County, on 23 April. Also, Orange-crowned, Common Yellowthroat, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Hermit Thrush. During the 3 1/2 hours of birding the Pueblo County side of the Ranch, I found 71 species of birds this morning.
