Western tanager, briefly

I saw my first Western Tanager of the season.  In my yard just south of Sedalia, off Highway 105, near West Plum Creek. Unfortunately I was working in the yard near the bird feeders and scared it off. Still a treat to see that brief blaze of yellow-orange-red!
