For those wishing to have a birding fix, Cattail Pond in SW Loveland had lots of water birds in a small open water area, including cackling geese, redheads, wigeons, ringnecks, gadwalls, and common goldeneye, There were probably others, but these were the ones I could identify in the short time I was there.
