First and foremost this is not birding where you arrive and the birds have tea and crumpets laid out awaiting your visit, effort is required. In three hours on 9/20 I had 2 Orange-crowned (OCWA), 47 Yellow-rumped (YRWA) many more present, 2 Towsend's (TOWA) and 4 Wilson's (WIWA). In three hours on 9/21 I had 1 OCWA, 1 MacGillivray's (MGWA), 1 American redstart (AMRE), 53 YRWA many more present, 1 TOWA and 3 WIWA. I must admit there are so many YRWA that sorting through them is very time consuming. Excellent birding. There was also a Lesser Scaup present both days that eBird has tagged as rare (too early for JeffCo)?
Happy Birding,
